It is with great sadness that our dear friend George Gordon has passed.
As a founding member, George was in attendance at the very first meeting of Blaxland FC and held various positions on the committee. He was made a Life Member in 1979 and coached for many years from 1970 to 1982 and then returned to us as Manager of the Prems in 2014 to 2016. George was a gentleman and loved by all, we will miss him dearly and his cheeky ways. Our love and condolences to Roslyn and Family.
For those wishing to attend George’s funeral, there will be a service at Leura Memorial Gardens and Crematorium this Friday 3rd January at 2pm, followed by a Wake at Glenbrook Bowling Club.
